Kenyan international set for surgery

Osborne Monday

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) leaders Sofapaka defender and Kenyan international Osborne Monday is set to undergo surgery on his injured knee that has kept him out of the team’s action for the better part of the first leg.

Next week

According to Sofapaka team manager Jacques Ngarambe, Monday will go under the knife next week in a bid to rectify the problem.

-Monday has not recovered yet and it is sad that we will not be able to use him at the start of the second leg. He is supposed to go for an operation next week on his injured knee, Ngarambe told futaa.com.

Fortunate

This is not the first time the player has had to sit out due to such problems, last season he also spent a lot of time on the sidelines due to a knee injury. Fortunately for him it is not on the same leg as the one suffered last season, coach Salim Ali had earlier informed futaa.com.
