The new voting system will be used to tackle corruption which over the years has been the major factor that has seen the level of football in Kenya on a decline.

The candidates are required to produce a certificate of good conduct in order to ensure credibility.

The elections are eagerly awaited by the local fans as many of them are tired of the wrangles and disputes which have characterized the Kenyan football leadership over the years.
