Kenyan international defender Ibrahim Bura Shikanda has hailed the return of Coach Stewart John Hall to his former Tanzanian Premier League club Azam, after a short stint at Kenya’s topflight side Sofapaka.
The Englishman replaced Salim Ali at Batoto Ba Mungu seven weeks ago after he parted ways with the wealthy Tanzanian outfit in July.
According to Shikanda, Azam’s deputy captain, Hall is a qualified and successful coach who’s capable of turning around the fortunes of the club.
-He’s a good coach and we’re surprised by his departure after leading us to the CECAFA Kagame Cup.
-Our recent playing system was not that way productive and I believe his return is a good boost to the team; he’s capable of turning around our fortunes, said Shikanda to futaa.com.
