Kenyan Defender Lawrence Olum featured for his club side Sporting KC in a Major League soccer match early Sunday 21 October 2012.

The match, which was against the New York Red Bulls ended in a barren draw.

Olum came into the game on 78 minutes for Jacob Peterson as they sought security in the face of increased Red Bulls attacks, led by Arsenal and French legend Thierry Henry.

Last match

With the point, Olum's side still retains it's top spot in the standings, with 60 points from 33 games played, three ahead of DC United.

Olum has been a regular starter for KC this season, after a slow season last term.

They will play their last match of the regular season on Thursday 25 October 2012 against the Philadelphia Union.
