Kenyan-born Curtis Osano, who started for Luton Town in the just-concluded English Conference National season, has now joined League Two side AFC Wimbledon.
The 25 year old has had an impressive relationship with Wimbledon’s boss Terry Brown who now says he is happy to sign the defender.
-I was very lucky to work with Curtis when he was an apprentice at Reading.
He came in and played centre-back at the time, but since then he has developed
into a good right-back, Terry told bedfordshirenews.co.uk.
-He is a beast of a boy, who has great power and strength and is a very good overall defender. Curtis will give us an outlet in that right-back spot as he is capable of bursting down the wing and I think he will be a great signing for the club.
-He is a boy who has played against us for Rushden and Jamie Stuart [a former Wimbledon defender, now with Sutton Town] spoke incredibly highly of him.
Osano, who had been with Rushden and Diamond prior to joining Luton, played 31 league matches for the Hatters [Luton Town].
