Kenya U20 not breaking camp

The Kenya U20 team that is shaping up for an African Youth Championship (AYC) tie against Egypt on Sunday 29 July 2012 will not be breaking camp.

We will not be releasing the players

This has been confirmed by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Lordvick Omondi Aduda.

-We will not be releasing the players back to their clubs. They will continue training throughout the weekend then depart on Monday (23 July) for Egypt, he said to futaa.com

Rest day

However, there have since been changes since the CEO spoke to our news desk. The team will now be departing on Wednesday 25th July for the second round first leg tie.

On Thursday 19 July the team played two friendly games against Bidco United and Gor Mahia and were handed a deserved rest day on Friday 20th
