Western Stima forward Wesley Kemboi played a key role in his team’s win over Sofapaka at the Nairobi City Stadium on Friday 21 September, just six days after another great display that enabled his team beat AFC Leopards.
His output could not escape the eye of national team coach Henri Michel as the Frenchman called him up to the national team camp that starts on Monday 24 September at the Moi International Sports Centre (MISC) Kasarani.
On the call, the speedy striker informed futaa.com that it has always been his wish to catch the eye of the national team coach and vowed to do his best to be of assistance to Harambee Stars.
-I am very happy at the call; it has always been my dream to get the call and do duty for my nation. I believe I have what it takes and now that I have the chance I will do my best because I want to be of importance to the team.
