After falling to a 3-2 loss to Thika United in their Monday 20 August match, KCB’s head Coach James Omondi attributed the loss to a weakening defense.
-Our defenders had relaxed in the second half, and the Thika forwards took advantage of this to get the goals, said Omondi in post-match interviews.
-It is unfortunate but that’s the nature of the game.
Standings
After the match, Thika are ranked fifth in the Kenyan Premier League standings, while KCB are placed 12th.
