Karuturi name unchanged line-up for Stima test

Karuturi

Karuturi Sport head coach James Omondi has made no changes to the team that beat Ulinzi Stars 2-0 in Afraha on Sunday 28 April ahead of their home Tusker Premier League (TPL) match against Western Stima on Saturday 4 May.

Geoffrey Msiebe will don the Flowermen’s armband with skipper Titus Wamalwa dropped for the second game running as is the case with veteran goalkeeper Noah Ayuko who sits out yet again Maxwell Malaba.

Chimaroke out

Nigerian defender Emmanuel Chimaroke is out injured thus Samuel Otieno continues to deputise and will be among the starters while former Gor Mahia man John Kiplagat is left out of the match-squad altogether as is Kennedy Ouma.

Last weekend’s scorers Mohamed Mwachiponi and Zzinda Hussein will lead Karuturi’s goal-hunt against the Kakamega-based TPL side, while Francis Masiga, Alan Otindo and Umar Bulenga remain on the bench.

Starting XI: Maxwell Malaba (GK), Simon Pierre, Geoffrey Msiebe (c), Samuel Otieno, Andrew Mbwabi, Tyron Owino, Joseph Kariuki, Andrew Murunga, Abdul Yusuf, Mohamed Mwachiponi, Zzinda Hussein.

Substitutes: Noah Ayuko (GK), Titus Wamalwa, Joshua Okeyo, Francis Masiga, John Mwangi, Umar Bulenga, Alan Otindo.
