Karuturi chair backs team to survive

Karuturi Sport Chairman has finally spoken out on the injury plague that has rocked the team in the current season of the Tusker Premier League.

The Chair, Mr. David Omega said that the team would overcome the hardship in time to escape the relegation axe at the end of the season.

Pushing hard

-The team has been bedeviled by injuries this season and this has been a thorn in our flesh but we have struggled and we will keep on working hard.

-I am confident that we will make it through safely and even climb higher on the standings since the players are determined to be better each day.

The most recent blow on the Karuturi lineup is veteran striker Jacob Omondi who is set to undergo further screening on his torn ligament at the Aga Khan Hospital.

He has also been ruled out of the rest of the season.
