Karungu have a new coach

Division One side Karungu FC have a new Coach, in the person of former Scarlet FC Technical Advisor Henry Adero.

Adero has been overseeing the team since their 7 April 3-0 win over Longonot Horticulture, taking over from ousted Bernard Kizito.

He has, however, officially declared his stand to fully take up the job today [Thursday 24 May], saying that he has already identified the team’s weaknesses and is working on getting it back in shape.

-I know what was ailing the team and I have worked out a cure, which will see the team’s performance become even more desirable than it is now, Adero told Futaa.com.

-We are now bent on closing the first leg, within the top-ten bracket and come the second leg, we shall be pushing for promotion.

Military side Scarlet FC, in whose technical bench Adero served, joined five other military sides to form Ulinzi.

Karungu are currently ranked 16th in the Western Zone of the Division One.
