Kariobangi Sharks lament over officiating

Kariobangi Sharks
The Division One Zone A tie between Coast Stars and Kariobangi Sharks played on Saturday 13 October 2012 at the Tudor Day Grounds in Mombasa was abandoned on the stroke of time after Sharks players assaulted centre referee Rico Chai.

Biased

Kariobangi Sharks Head Coach Bernard Ndolo says the officiating was very biased and called upon Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to act on the issue.

-We were leading by a solitary goal at the 90th minute then the referee awarded them a dubious penalty which they took to equalize. Then after a few seconds he awarded them another penalty and it is at this point that emotions overwhelmed my players and they surrounded the referee who in turn decided to called off the match, Ndolo told futaa.com.

-The officiating in all the matches we’ve played in Mombasa has been wanting and FKF should step and streamline things here, he added.

Table

Kariobangi Sharks is sixth in the twenty-team Zone A table with 52 points. Bandari tops the table with 70 points having played 33 matches.
