With the Division One league set to end next month, some of the players plying their trade in the league have already set sight on moving into the top-tier, the Tusker Premier League.
One of these players is Kenyan Under 20 forward Vincent Odongo. The player was on-loan to Gor Mahia last season but rejoined Kariobangi Sharks at the beginning of this season.
Gor Mahia
Odongo says he’s regained his form and expressed his wish to join a top-tier team next season.
-I have been working hard and just like most players, would wish to play for a top-tier team next season, Odongo told futaa.com.
-I’ve always admired Gor Mahia and would like to play for them again. However if another TPL side approaches me I will not hesitate, he added.
Table
Kariobangi Sharks is sixth in the Division One Zone A table with 52 points having played 31 matches and have gone for four matches without a win.
-We’ve had mixed results recently but I know we will perform better in the upcoming matches, Odongo said.
