Ligi Ndogo came from a goal down in the FKF Division One Zone A league match played at the Hope Centre grounds on Wednesday 10 October to thump Congo JMJ United 2 – 1.
The win effectively marked Ligi Ndogo’s end of a three game losing streak and coach Mike Azeu Kamure was rightly overjoyed. Speaking to futaa.com after the match, the coach lauded his players’ fighting spirit in result he said was long overdue.
Good spirit
- It was very tough game and the win was long overdue. My players showed a very good fighting spirit; I liked their character in the game and I am very happy with the spirit that they put in and of course the three points, he said.
Even though Ligi Ndogo got the win, they remain stuck at position seven on the 20 – team log in the Kenyan second tier.
