Kamau won’t risk Kenyan international

Kamau

Thika United coach John Kamau is facing a selection headache as he plots for Rangers FC’s downfall when the two teams meet at the Thika Municipal Stadium for their Tusker Premier League (TPL) encounter on Saturday 16 September.

Miheso out

The coach had to do with injuries to five of his players after the Friday 7 September friendly match against KCB and of the injured players, he confirmed Kenyan international Clifford Miheso is out since by Tuesday 11 September he hadn’t resumed training.

Speaking to futaa.com, however, Kamau remained hopeful of having Wycliffe Opondo, who picked a knee knock in the friendly match and Vincent Otieno who had a shoulder injury after the encounter.

Bet on Opondo and Otieno

-I can’t risk calling on Cliff in the Rangers game; his injury is so serious and considering he hasn’t trained since after the friendly I can’t count on him. However, Opondo could make a return and I can also bet on Otieno, he said.

Freeman Mulbah sustained a toe injury while Geoffrey Muhando picked a knock on the shin in the encounter at the Nairobi City Stadium.
