Thika United coach John Kamau does not expect another big win for his team when visiting Rangers FC make the short trip to the industrial town for the two sides’ Kenyan Premier League (KPL) meeting on Friday 14 August.
6 - 0 first leg win
Thika United thrashed the Nairobi side 6 – 0 in the two sides’ first leg encounter with the team’s top scorer Kepha Aswani bagging four on the day but the current Rangers side is a much changed side after a lot of activity in midseason.
The tactician, however, admits that with the goal scoring opportunities that the team creates, a big win remains a possibility if they can use them but is quick to add that a win of any margin will be just okay.
Different day and team
-That was a different day and Rangers was a very different team from what it is today so I don’t foresee another goal glut. However, I can’t entirely rule out a big win because from the way we are playing lately and with the chances we create, that is an outside possibility.
-But the most important thing is a win; any win will do for me, he told futaa.com.
