Kagawa makes impressive start for United

Manchester United new signing Shinji Kagawa scored his first goal in their 1-0 pre-season victory over Shanghai Shenhua.

Kagawa, who was named as man of the match,scored after the 68^th minute against Shenhua who played without key players Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba at the Shanghai Stadium.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was satisfied with the game which seemed tricky as Shenhua side was not an easy take, having great co-ordination.

-I was very pleased with the way we played in the second half. In the first half we had a lot of possession but lacked penetration and speed of play. It's been a great workout, they were very well organized. They weren't easy to play against. Ferguson told the guardian.
