Former AFC Ingwe Leopards great Joseph Joe [JJ] Masiga is confident that the Leopards will beat Gor Mahia, in their return leg match to be played on Saturday 22 September.

Masiga, who donned the national team number nine jersey in the 1980s, says that he is still a staunch follower of the team and promises to root for them in the upcoming match.

-I spent my best playing days at AFC Leopards and I still hold the team close to my heart, Masiga told Futaa.com.

Upcoming match

Of the match against Gor, Masiga says it will be a tough match, but that he already knows where the three points will go.

-I expect a very good game and I am sure that my team AFC Leopards will carry the day.

-This is because I know that as much as they have not been performing well and they are going into the match as underdogs, they are still a strong side and will emerge winners from the match.

Coy on a specific scoreline, Masiga says that irrespective of the number of goals, AFC will be on top.

-Whichever way the match ends, I know AFC will be ahead by one goal.

Match

The match will be played at the Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani, starting 1500.
