Nairobi District League [Zone C] winner Intercity FC will clash against County League Champions Kangemi AllStars, in an eagerly-anticipated a friendly tie, on Sunday 14 October, at Hope Centre-Kawangware.
Both teams have finished their respective leagues in top form and Intercity’s Coach Frank Okoth expects an explosive match.
However, compared to their hosts, Kangemi registered an historical record winning all their 12 league matches; scoring 50 goals and conceding only 3.
-As far as I am concerned, this is a high profiled friendly match and we expect it to be tough but entertaining.
-Kangemi is strong team both offensive and defensive; they’ve proved it in the county league and I know my players will learn a lot from the friendly.
-It’s all about exposure, that’s why we are going for top teams .We want to prepare very well for the District play-offs,said Okoth to futaa.com.
The match will kick-off at 1400hrs local time.
