Injuries threaten Utawala progress

Kefa Onditi
A growing injury list is threatening Utawala FC's progression in the FKF Division one zone B.

The Nakuru Police outfit has been inconsistent of late, posting one good result and several bad ones in the space of a few games.

A 7-0 beating of Yanga has been clouded by home losses to Zoo Kericho and Longonot respectively and club Secretary Kepha Onditi blames the checkered form on injuries.

Mixed bag

- I admit that we have had some inconsistent results of late, with some good matches and bad ones all mixed up together.

- What has caused this is injury, as we have lost many players due to injury, up to five very important ones and so we have really struggled to get going. We will however have them back over the weekend and hopefully, improve in our last games of the season, he told Futaa.com.

Utawala are in position 15 in the standings and next host Soin Flourspur in league action over the weekend.
