French and Manchester City forward Samir Nasri will miss the Sunday 23 September 2012 date with former side Arsenal, when the two giants clash in an English Premier League game set for the Etihad Stadium.
The Frenchman limped out of their Tuesday evening Champions League opening match against Real Madrid with a hamstring problem sending chills that he could be out for the next few weeks.
The Roberto Mancini told sportinglife.com that it would be too soon to expect the return of the international this weekend after that injury over the weekend.
- I do not think he will be ready for Sunday, said Mancini. We will try but it is difficult. I hope he will be okay for next week.
Nasri played only four minutes of their last season’s match at the same stadium coming in for Edwin Dzeko in the dying minutes of the match.
The upcoming match kicks off at 1800hrs local time.
