Ingwe fans to leave Nairobi in a convoy

AFC fans

On Saturday 15 September all roads lead to Nakuru for the great Western derby; a Tusker Premier League (TPL) game pitting league leaders AFC Leopards away to Western Stima at the Afraha Stadium.

Assemble at Jevanjee

The AFC Leopards fans from Nairobi are set to leave the capital in a convoy and according to the club’s former official in charge of coordinating fans Mr. Fred Lutta, the fans will assemble at 0800hrs at the Jevanjee Gardens for prayers before leaving for Nakuru an hour later.

Speaking to futaa.com, Lutta called on the Ingwe fans to don the team’s away match colours – red and black for the 1500hrs kickoff and he estimated the arrival time in Nakuru at midday to team up with the Nakuru branch fans.

Great procession

-We will assemble for one hour of prayer at the Jevanjee Gardens as from 0800hrs then proceed in a convoy to Nakuru where we will link up with the Nakuru fans at the Shemeji Hotel in Lanet for lunch. Afterwards we will leave in a great procession for the stadium.

-I am calling on all our fans to come out in numbers and sit together in Russia (terraces). The dress code for the day will be red and black since we are the away side in the encounter, he said.

AFC Leopards lead the 16 team log with 45 points after 23 matches.
