Ingwe confirms Olaba as head Coach

Former Kenya U20 and Mtibwa Coach Tom Olaba has been confirmed as the new head coach for AFC Leopards.

This comes barely a week after the Tusker Premier League [TPL] giants revoked the appointment of Portuguese Coach Vitor Trinidad Salvado.

The changes were confirmed on Tuesday 5 February by AFC Chairman Alex Ole Magelo, while unveiling their off-season signings at Nyayo National Stadium.

-Olaba is now officially in charge of the team.

-We have confidence in him and he will continue to handle the team. We will support him fully, said Magelo.

Olaba was named Leopards’ assistant coach in December last year, and has been serving temporarily as the head coach for the past one month.
