City Stars midfielder Selestine Imwene will still be unavailable for their weekend clash with Premier League second placed Tusker Fc at the Hope Centre.
Imwene has not trained with the team since their 1-0 win over Sofapaka at the Nyayo National Stadium on fourth May.
The player has been out after the he lost the dad but has not been able to link up with the team after that. Speaking to kenyanfootie, the former Kenya Revenue Authority player confirmed that all the activities were behind him now and that he was ready to start training on Monday with the rest of the squad.
Brilliant Tusker
City stars will be facing a Tusker team that has only lost twice this season to former champions Sofapaka and to the high flying Rangers. The team has also had its great moments by proving to be giant killers on two occasions.
They managed to fell last season runners up Gor Mahia through a Jimmy Bageya’s lone goal on the 9th of April at the City Stadium.
Their latest casualties are the Sofapaka on the 4th of May, something that Imwene says can be easily replicated on Saturday.
The team is currently placed 15th with eight points two ahead of last placed Bandari.
