Imonje: We are ready for Gor Mahia

Muhoroni Youth is scheduled to take on Gor Mahia in the President’s Cup quarter final later on Sunday 7 October at the Nairobi City Stadium as both sides go in search of a ticket to face off with AFC Leopards at the next stage of the tournament.

Despite being labelled the underdogs, the Muhoroni Youth coach Alfred Imonje is confident that his charges will stop the on form Gor Mahia in the 1500hrs kickoff. The coach, speaking to, warned the hosts against underrating his team.

Well prepared

-We are well prepared for this game. It is a big game and I know we will approach it in a big way because we have a good squad and a good game plan. The biggest mistake they can do is to look down on us; we are going for a win, he said.

Imonje is not a stranger to silencing Gor Mahia as he has already beaten them in the league, in the first ever competitive meeting between the sides.
