Imonje hits out at his players after loss

Alfred Imonje

Muhoroni Youth FC head coach has blamed his players for their 0-1 loss in the hands of Tusker Premier League weekend opponents Karuturi Sport on Saturday afternoon.

Speaking after the match, a rather agitated Alfred Imonje revealed that his players were not at their best and did not follow his instructions to the letter.

Slow to react

-The boys tried but they did not play according to my instructions. Their reaction was a bit slow so they did not play well.

-We had the chances in the first half but we failed to rise to the occasion to make use of them and in football chances lost always turn against you.

Muhoroni went down courtesy of a Zzinda Hussein goal in the second half that pushed them back to relegation zone.

Karuturi Sport skipped to ninth awaiting Sunday afternoon results.
