Ikidi misses out on Swedish league honours

The nominations for the Swedish Football gala is out and Faith Ikidi who was once nominated for the honours for best defender in the Swedish Damallsvenska was not listed.

Ikidi is considered one of the best defenders by some of the coaches in the premier league especially Gothernburg coach, Torbjorn Nilsson. Who believes that if the former Linkoping defender was in a bigger club she would have been chosen.

-With her timing, technique, passing, agility, speed and understanding of the game, Ikidi should have been nominated in one of the two seasons she has played with Pitea, said Torbjorn.
