Igesund lauds strong Bafana Bafana

Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund has congratulated his team for standing tall against Kenya’s Harambee Stars amidst what he termed as tough conditions.

Speaking after the match, Igesund said that his boys staged a brave show in the match but admitted that there are many areas that they need to improve on as a team.

Job well done

-I must say that the team did a good job today in the match despite the conditions we were in but we are going to work on our mistakes and improve.

The coach revealed that he now has a clear picture of the team he needs for the future encounters as the AFCON tournament nears.

-I now know the kind of players I need for the match for the AFCON tournament after the rounds of friendly matches.

Bafana Bafana saw off their hosts Harambee Stars 1-2 at the Nyayo Stadium on Tuesday evening.
