AllStars and former Gor Mahia striker Hugo Nzangu has refuted claims that
he interfered with the Outgrowers goalkeeper
while scoring against them on Saturday 28 July 2012.
The lethal forward who has also played for SoNy Sugar in the Kenyan Premier League told futaa.com that his was a clean goal that he headed in from a rebound.
-I headed in the ball well clear from the goalkeeper after a Muchera cross crashes against the post with the rebound bouncing back to me.
-The goalkeeper then came towards me and landed on me way after the ball had rolled into the net. That cannot be me interfering.
Outgrowers had lamented unfair treatment claiming that the striker had shielded the goalkeeper from collecting the rebound sentiments which have since been refuted.
The goal was enough to hand AllStars the entire three points leaving them third on the Division One Zone B standings.
