After a lack-lustre showing in Namibia and Togo, the Kenyan National team, Harambee Stars landed in Kenya to a silent welcome.
Less than a day later, Kenyan football stakeholders are coming out to offer suggestions on what should be done to make the team find footing in international competition.
Kibera Celtic Chairman John Oyoo, is the latest to add his voice to the debate, offering that the entire team needs an overhaul.
-We need fresh players, and being deeply involved in the sport, I can tell you that we do not have a shortage of young talent, Oyoo told Futaa.com.
-We also need a new technical bench, preferably made up of individuals not directly linked to a particular Kenyan club.
-That will be a good start, because for most part we have enough of the other necessary resources to get the team to perform.
Standings
Celtic, a team established in 2008, is currently ranked 17th in the Eastern Zone of Kenya’s Division One.
