Homeboyz to revive rivalry with Nzoia in A.S.K Cup

It’ll be a battle of titans on Friday 22 June, at Kakamega Show Grounds, when Division One League rivals Kakamega Homeboyz FC and Nzoia United FC meet in Western Kenya Kakamega A.S.K Cup.

Homeboyz won the trophy last year and the club’s Patron/Sponsor Cleophas Shimanyula has vowed to defend it.

Mission

-It’ll be fireworks at Show Ground on Friday and we’re more than ready for the match, Shimanyula told futaa.com.

-We know it’ll be tough but as Champions our target is to defend the trophy; nothing less than that, he insisted.

Currently the two sides are level on points (39 points) in the Western Zone League, but Homeboyz are third edged out on goal difference.

In the first leg, played at Sudi Stadium, the match ended in a stalemate.
