Homeboyz extend stay at top

Kakamega Homeboyz extended their stint at the top of the Division One [Western Zone] League with an impressive 5-0 win over GFC 105, on Sunday 14 October, at Bukhungu Stadium.

Former AFC Leopards forward Dennis Ngaira Mukaisi and Rooney Otieno teamed-up to score a brace each as the Kakamega-based side opened–up a six point lead over second placed Agrochemicals.

Four matches

Homeboyz took an early lead in the 8^th through Keiphas Barasa before Otieno struck in the 24^th and 38^th minutes with Mukaisi scoring before the half-hour mark and in the 70^th minute.

With four matches to go, Homeboyz top the Western Zone League, 38 points ahead of ninth placed GFC.
