Homeboyz Chair in praise of ‘unknown entities’

Cleophas Shimayula, a patron and bankroller of Division One Zone B league leaders Kakamega Homeboyz has classified the opposition his team faced over the season in the league to date.

No one paid attention

Particularly, Shimanyula has utmost respect for four teams that many considered ‘unknown entities’ in the 20-team league.

-There are very good teams in the league that no one paid attention to

-Zoo Kericho is a very good side, one that people need to watch out for. In the next season they have the capability of sneaking past all the favorites and be a top contender

Not being consistent

-We may have beaten them at their backyard but it is because we hit them on the counter – it was not to say they were bad at all

 -Soin Flourspar is also a very strong team and Nzoia United too. Despite not being consistent one of the best sides that are in our division is Kisumu Municipal. The side is tactical and plays good football

Nzoia United is currently third on the log, Zoo Kericho is seventh, Soin fluorspar eighth and Kisumu Municipal in position 12.

On the other hand Homeboyz is currently top of the pile in the division with a healthy eight point gap over second placed Finlays Horticulture.

With a further three points from their remaining three games in the season, Homeboyz will be through to top flight football in 2013.
