Homeboyz beat Soin narrowly

Kakamega Homeboyz handed Soin Flourspar a 2-1 beating in their Division One [Western Zone] match played on Saturday 22 September.

In the match, Soin, the home side went up in the 23rd minute, through Job Sule.

Homeboyz equalized in the 41st minute, through a Ronald Otieno strike.

Second half

In the 59th minute, Flourspar’s captain Kenneth was handed a red-card, forcing the team to reorganize, as they tried to salvage a point from the match.

However, Kakamega had different plans for the match, with Dennis Mukaisi going on to secure a win with his 59th minute strike.

Homeboyz bagged full points but Flourspar’s keeper Daniel Kiptoo, remained the day’s hero for halting Kakamega’s numerous attempts.

Standings

After the match, Homeboyz are still atop the league table, while Flourspar are ranked seventh.
