Henri Michel calls up Stima forward

On form Western Stima forward Wesley Kemboi is the newest addition to the Harambee Stars squad that will be reporting to camp for a three day training period at the Moi International Sports Centre (MISC) Kasarani as from Monday 24 September 2012.

The striker has been in inspiring form for the Westerners and was instrumental in the team’s last two matches, scoring a brace against AFC Leopards before creating the second goal in the win over Sofapaka on Friday 21 September 2012 in a performance that caught national team Coach Henri Michel’s eye.

Tormented Sofapaka

Michel, who was at the Nairobi City Stadium to watch Kemboi torment the off form 2009 Tusker Premier League (TPL) champions informed the speedy forward of the call up immediately after the clash.

The striker will link up with the other 28 players previously called up to the provisional national team squad.
