Harambee Stars report to camp

Harambee Stars
The Harambee Stars players retained in the squad for camp will be expected there from midday, Monday 8 October 2012.

Stars coach Henri Michel has dropped 14 players from the 29 initially called up to face off with South Africa's Bafana Bafana in a friendly match on Tuesday 16 October 2012.

The 15 left will now take to camp today, starting 1200 hrs at the Moi Sports Centre Kasarani.

Foreign based players to come

- The players are on their way to camp. We expect them there from midday. Together with the nine players playing away from home who will join later, camp will go on.

- Those dropped have been so, because we only require 20 players for a FIFA match, but we will still use them later as we look forward to the end of year assignments, Team Manager Cpt Joe Birgen told Futaa.com.

Of the foreign based players, Dennis Oliech is in the country while others like Victor Wanyama and Arnold Origi are expected any-time from now.
