After Football Kenya Federation [FKF] bluntly turned down the invitation from the All India Football Federation [AIFF] to have the Harambee Stars play in the 2012 Nehru Cup, in favour of a friendly against Jamaica, the middle-eastern country has identified neighbours Nepal to take Kenya’s place.

According to goalnepal.com, the All Nepal Football Association [ANFA] have confirmed participation in the tournament, scheduled to run from 22 August to 2 September at the Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.

Match

Kenya had been booked to play on 25 August, but had been lined up to take on the Carribean country on the same day, in a match to be played in Rentschler in the state capital of Hartford, Connecticut, US.
