Harambee Stars: Progress noted

Nandwa
National team Harambee Stars are progressing well in their Jamaican plans.

The Stars are headed to the United States of America for a friendly match with Jamaica next Saturday (25 August 2012) and have thus been in camp preparing.

According to acting head coach James Nandwa, the preparations are up to speed as they look forward to the trip.

Doing well

- So far so good.

- Things are going on well at the moment and the players are working hard. I am happy with the way we are progressing and learning at the same time.

- We want to produce a good performance when we go out there, so the players are upbeat and are focussed, he told Futaa.com.

Missing players

The Stars will likely miss out on some key players that have been invited to join up with the team, as Celtic FC's Victor Wanyama, Arnold Origi and even Dennis Oliech have conflicting club programmes on the material day.
