Harambee Stars near full-house

Ahead of their Tuesday 16 October 2012 international friendly match against Bafana Bafana, the Harambee Stars squad has been boosted by the arrival of its foreign-based players.

Arrivals        

Team Captain Dennis Oliech, who plies his trade in France for Auxerre was the first to arrive while Celtic’s Victor Wanyama and South Africa-based defender Brian Niang Mandela arrived yesterday and attended the team’s training sessions at the Nyayo National Stadium today, Friday 12 October 2012.

Israel-based midfielder Patrick Armando Osiako, Genk’s youngster Ayub Timbe and Norway-based custodian Arnold Origi are expected to arrive tonight while Coastal Union’s Jerry Santo’s arrival is still uncertain.

Squad in camp: Fredrick Onyango, Chritopher Wekesa, Antony Akumu, Donald Mosoti (Gor Mahia), Jacktone  Odhiambo, Godfrey Kokoyo, Mulinge Ndetto (Ulinzi Stars),  Osborn Monday, James Situma, Eugine Asike ( Sofapaka), Francis Kahata (Thika United), Wesley Kemboi (Western Stima), Andrew Tololwa (Mathare Utd), Peter Opiyo (Tusker), Edwin Wafula ( AFC Leopards), Dennis Oliech (Auxerre), Victor Mugubi (Celtic) and Brian Mandela (Santos).

The match will be played at the Nyayo National Stadium and will kick off at 1900 hours.
