Gusii's Anunda and Ochieng still out with injury

Anunda

Top goal scorer Paul Anunda and defender Dan Ochieng are the only ones of five injured Gusii United players who are yet to get back on form.

The other three Gordon Okoth, Dennis Mong’are and Dan Omondi all of whom went down during their 4-2 Nationwide Division 1 league loss to Strathmore University, on Sunday 16 October, have been back training with the team.

Hopeful of recovery

Speaking to Futaa.com, Head Coach Rashid Omar said that the absence of Anunda and Ochieng has necessitated a tentative restructuring of the team but he is optimistic that the two will be up and running before their 6 November meeting with league leaders KRA.

-We considered the match against KRA as the toughest of our remaining must-win challenges.

-We are currently developing various arrangements that we can use for fall-back incase the two players cannot make it to the team on time.

Gusii are ranked eleventh on the league table and have 31 points collected from 26 matches.
