English Premier League side Arsenal Fc has given 23 year old winger Theo Walcott two more months to make up his minds and pen a new deal with the London based club.
According to the Gunners’ manager Arsene Wenger, the young forward and former Southampton player should ensure that he concludes the process within the period or things will get thicker.
Hopeful
- I still hope to sign him and the next two months will be vital because after that, the longer this situation lasts, then the more difficult it is, Wenger told sportinglife.com.
The manager however stated that the club has not yet decided on whether to put him up on sale if the player remains hesitant after the period elapses.
-It will depend on the needs of the team and the club. We can afford to go to the end (of the contract) if needed.
Walcott has a year deal remaining on his contract which means that this could be his last season in Gunners’ uniform.
