John Kibet struck in the first half before Weedmark Ochieng added a second five minutes to time to hand Green Berets a deserved 2-0 win over Sparki Youth in a Division One Zone A side played in Ruiru on Saturday 13 October 2013.

Good one

The two goals handed the side their first win after eight games of misses, the eighth win of the season.

-Sparki Youth are a very good side. But we were stronger than them

-The game was a good one and we used the chances we got well to get the win

On the rise

-We have been low but we pulled up our socks and now that we are on the rise we hope to move away from the relegation talk, said Green Berets head Coach Grado Sande

The Ruiru based side is now placed 13^th in the 19-team log with 33 points from 32 games. Sparki is in relegation spot 18 with 27 points from 32 games.
