Gor’s new coach to arrive tomorrow

Gor Mahia’s interim Coach John Bobby Ogolla is expected to join the team on Wednesday 7 March ahead of their CAF Confederations return leg against Ferrovario de Maputo on Sat (Mar 10).

According to the Chairman Ambrose Rachier, the former Kenyan international, who’s currently in the upcountry will be holding his first training session tomorrow at Highway Secondary School. 


-Bobby is still in the upcountry but he’ll be here with us on Wednesday early in the morning for further discussions at the training ground, Rachier said during a press conference on Monday.

Ogolla was appointed in an acting capacity replacing Anaba Awono after the disbandment of the entire technical on Monday 5 March, owing to Gor’s dismissal performance in the past three matches.

Former international and Ulinzi Stars striker Tom Ogweno has also been acquired as the Team Manager.
