Gor skipper appeals for caution

Gor Mahia captain Jerim Onyango has called on all his teammates to exercise caution in their matches since this could prove to be a tricky season for all teams.

The custodian has also warned his teammates to expect tough opposition from the other teams in the league this season since teams have pushed their preparations a notch higher.

Tricky affair

-Every game is going to be very tricky this season and must be taken seriously since there are no underdogs. Teams have invested heavily in preparations and there is no taking chances.

-We also have to be very cautious not to give away easy goals and to utilize every opportunity that comes our way. The players should however know that losing is just part of the many challenges in football.

-Strong people are seen when they fall and rise again so this should be the time to move on after the midweek loss.

Salt was added in Gor Mahia’s injury when they lost to newly promoted Muhoroni United by a solitary goal at the Nyayo Stadium on Wednesday 22 February 2012 just days after being walloped 3-0 by Ferroviaro away in Maputo.
