Tusker Premier League side Gor Mahia knocked down Nairobi Provincial League side Re Union 3-0 in a friendly game
played on Saturday 29 September 2012 at the City Stadium from 1600hrs.
Score line
The tie gave the non regular kogalo players a chance and they impressed the Coach with the win that stretches the team’s unbeaten run.
Gor carried a 1-0 half time lead to the break then topped up that score line with another two goals in the second half to seal the win.
Trialist
Itubu Imbem scored the first a minute to half time. George Midenyo then doubled the scores on 63minutes before substitute Edwin Lavatsa sealed the win with a 70th minute strike.
Sparingly used in league games, former Harambee Stars trialist Wycliffe Kasaya wore the gloves for this game. From the regular troop starters, Dan Mosoti started the game while Rama Salim made a substitutes appearance.
