Gor K’Ogalo Mahia handed SoNy Sugar a 1-0 defeat in their match played on Sunday 9 September at the City Stadium.

The only goal of the day was registered in the 81^st minute, with Ivan Anguyo heading in a corner taken by Moses Odhiambo.

Earlier in the match Gor had come close to scoring, but attempts by Odhiambo, Rama Salim and Dani Sserunkuma being kept in check by SoNy's defender Sylvester Wanyama and keeper Collins Oduor.

The win helped Gor rise to second place, in the Kenyan Premier League log, where they currently sit behind AFC Leopards.
