Gor Mahia vs Tusker: Security issues taken care of

Ahead of the Sunday 28 October 2012 Gor Mahia versus Tusker match, stakeholders held a meeting to finalize on the security arrangements.

Security

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Chairperson Sam Nyamweya, Kenyan Premier League (KPL) CEO Jack Oguda as well as Security representatives from Makongeni and Industrial Area police Station attended the meeting held at the City Stadium in Nairobi.

-All the fans will be screened as they enter the stadium and the security will be top-notch. Police Officers on horse backs will maintain security outside the stadium, FKF Media Liason Officer John Kariuki said.

-The federation has stepped in to ensure the game is played in a safe environment, he added.

Venue

The game will be played at the City Stadium and will kick off at 1500 hours.
