Gor bench Njuguna as Juma returns

Gor Mahia coach Zdravko Logarusic has given former Kenyan international Yusuf Juma a rare call to the team as he readies for the challenge of Rangers in the Tusker Premier League (TPL) encounter at the Nyayo National Stadium on Wednesday 3 October.

On the bench

The former Thika United defender will, however, start from the bench as well as newly signed Joseph Njuguna while Nicholas Auma also returns but starts from the bench.

Jerim Onyango, despite being bereaved, will once again lead the side and the defence will be marshalled by Ivan Anguyo and Donald Mosoti at the heart while Solomon Nasio and Christopher Wekesa will man the flanks.

Starting XI: Jerim Onyango; Solomon Nasio, Christopher Wekesa , Donald Mosoti , Ivan Anguyo; Teddy Akumu,  Kevin Omondi, Moses Odhiambo  Ali Abondo; Rama Salim, Dani Sserunkuma.

Substitutes: Ivo Mapunda [GK], David Owino, Ouma Nicholas,  Joseph Njuguna, Edwin Lavatsa, Yusuf Juma, George Midenyo.
