Girls Division One League will finally roll off in the weekend starting Saturday

Lined up
The league of 14 teams that will become the feeder to the top tier FKF Girls Premier League was to kick off in the past weekend but had to be pushed back by a week as most teams had not completed the mandatory registration in the Player Registration System (PRS)
A total of seven ties have been lined up for the weekend across the two zones that make the league; Eastern and Western.
Enter the fray
In the six-team Western league, Suba Lakers will hosts Oserian Ladies at Mbita as Leeds Kisumu plays host to Eldoret’s Kick to Life at the Kenyatta Sports Ground. Both ties kick off at 1400hrs.
On Sunday 19 August, Kakamega Muslim will take on Kick to Life at the Bukhungu Stadium from 1100hrs as Victoria Ladies enter the fray with a 1400hrs tie against Oserian Ladies at Kendu Bay.
Kathiani United
In the eight-team Eastern Zone, Furaha from Mombasa will host Move the Goal Post (MGP) in Kilifi from 1400hrs, the same hour that Thika’s Gaspo Youth will take on Kathiani United from Machakos at Juja Preparatory.
On Sunday Sporting Queens will host Muranga’s Homegirls at the Moi Educational Centre starting from 1400hrs.
On other tie set for the same day and time between new entrants from Nairobi Dagoretti United and FC Talanta has been deferred to a later date.
