Stand-in captain Sulley Muntari lead by example by opening the scoring on 19 minutes and there were braces for Jordan Ayew and Dominic Adiyiah.

Debutants Christian Atsu and Jerry Akaminko were also on the score sheet.

Muntari opened the scoring early as he unleashed a piledriver from 15 yards and curled the ball beautifully into the net to beat goalkeeper Phasumane.

The Ghanaians continued their search for the second and striker Dominic Adiyiah silenced his critics with a sublime finish on his return to the national team. This was after turning his markers inside out to make it two in the 25th minute mark.

Ayew made it 3-0 before the half-time whistle by finishing off a solo move.

The second half continued to produce scintillating football and despite the power failure which held the game up for more than an hour.

The floodlights were restored and the game continued from the 54th minute-The search for goals continued as well.

Youngster made impact

Adiyiah blasted home the fourth on the 52nd minutes with a cool finish from close range to cap an incredible evening.

Youngster Atsu who replaced Muntari to mark his debut in Ghana colours, never disappointed as he curled the ball home from 25 yards to make it five.

Ayew easily tapped the sixth goal from a goal-mouth scramble. Centre-back Akaminko sealed victory for the Black Stars with a fine header after the goalkeeper failed to collect a corner-kick.

The victory will be a massive morale booster ahead of next week's crucial game against Zambia in Lusaka.
